While there are hundreds of processors available in Clockspring to meet your specific needs, we have found that there are a handful of processors that are very commonly used and wanted to provide general usage guidelines and scenarios for each:
General Processors
InvokeHTTP - Pulls information from an HTTP/S endpoint
GenerateFlowFile - Generates a new flowfile with custom content or attributes
Routing Processors
RouteOnAttribute - Routes flowfiles to different relationships based on defined attribute criteria
RouteOnContent - Routes flowfiles to different relationships based on the content within the flowfile
JSON Processors
EvaluateJsonPath - Extracts attributes from a JSON document using JSONPath
AttributesToJson - Creates JSON from attributes associated to the flowfile
ExtractAttributes - Extracts Key-Value pairs from JSON document
SplitJson - Splits a JSON array into multiple flowfiles
SQL Processors
ExecuteSQL - Execute SQL select queries against a defined database
Controller Services
Controller Services Overview - Defines what a controller service is and how they work
SSL Context - Defines truststores and keystores for SSL certificates within Clockspring
DBCPConnectionPool - Defines connections to databases to use as a "service" for Clockspring processors
